Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity, security breaches, or safety hazards
- Control access points using electronic access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations of visitors and staff
- Perform surveillance using CCTV systems to oversee key areas and detect potential security concerns
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies following established emergency response procedures
- Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities
- Assist with conflict de-escalation techniques when necessary to maintain a peaceful environment
- Support emergency situations by administering first aid or CPR when required, utilizing AED devices if needed
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Knowledge of surveillance technology, CCTV operation, and access control systems
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or supplies
- Strong skills in incident report writing with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience performing background checks or screening visitors is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflicts professionally and effectively
