The Opportunity
We are building a freelance community to support the 113 Spring ecosystem, the team responsible for how 113 Spring feels in action, through a variety of offerings including products, experiences, services, events, and a cafe.
This is not traditional freelance work. 113 Spring is about presence, innovation, and well-being. You help shape the energy of the room, anticipate what is needed before it is asked, and ensure every interaction feels warm, welcoming, and intentional. Inspired by nature, there is a seasonality to 113 Spring that invites and explores change, discovery, and unique journeys.
What You Will Do
· Support the execution of events, gatherings, and experiences
· Create a warm, elevated, and effortless guest experience
· Read the room and anticipate needs in real time
· Assist with set-up, transitions, and resets with precision and care
· Partner closely with the team to maintain flow, tone, and quality
· Contribute to an environment that feels calm, intentional, and alive
Priority 1: Event Support
· Supporting our expanding event program is our primary need.
· Physical event set up, breakdown, and total floor maintenance and cleanliness
· Store opening and closing procedures (cleaning, space resetting, trash / recycling consolidation)
· Guest check-in, gathering signatures for media release forms, coat check, tea and water service, light cleaning and bussing kitchen supplies including running dishwasher, drying dishes, and other ad-hoc needs
Priority 2: General Guest Experience Support
After supporting with events and learning some key and basic functions of 113 Spring, you may be called upon to support general day-to-day operations and experiences. These tasks include:
· Welcoming guests as a concierge
· Floor coverage and providing tours for clients
· Sharing product and experience information, confidently speaking to the space’s offerings
· Driving product sales, event and experience bookings
· Supporting booked experience preparation and executional needs (such as packaging orders, labeling items, organizing supplies, etc.)
· Space readiness and closing procedures (visual merchandising, light, sound, trash, etc.)
Priority 3: Experience and Service Support
As you become more familiar with 113 Spring events and daily operations, and show consistency, reliability, and growth, you may have the opportunity to be trained on our more bespoke client services and experiences that are unique to 113 Spring. Thematic Experiences and Services opportunities to be determined
You will have the opportunity if interested and based on development and performance to expand your scope and become more deeply ingrained into the 113 Spring ecosystem.

· Compensation: The anticipated hourly rate for this freelance role is $25–$30 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Capabilities & Expectations
· Schedule flexibility with primary availability from 5pm to 9pm on weekdays, daytime and early evening on weekends with occasional daytime hours as needed.
· Ability to lift up to 35lbs and safely walk up and down stairs while carrying items or using dumb waiter
· Ability to lift, bend, carry, and assist with moving furniture and other items as needed.
