We are seeking a skilled EKG Technician to perform mobile electrocardiogram services across SNFs, ALFs, and patient homes while ensuring CMS and IDTF compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform 12-lead EKG/ECG tests and rhythm strips
- Prepare patients and ensure proper lead placement
- Troubleshoot signal quality and artifacts
- Upload results for physician interpretation
- Maintain logs and ensure documentation accuracy
- Follow CMS, HIPAA, and IDTF compliance requirements
Medicare / CMS Requirements
- Eligible for PECOS enrollment
- Pass OIG and SAM checks
- No sanctions or license issues
- Follow CMS IDTF guidelines
- Work under physician orders
- Maintain competency documentation
Mobile Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Willing to travel
- Comfortable working independently
Compensation
- $20–$35/hour OR $10–$25 per study
