TIPS: You get tips! Everyone in the house splits tips and it equates to approximately $4/hour extra on top of your hourly rate. This is a big bonus for a lot of line cooks, some of the cooks that have been with us for awhile are making really good money.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, following food safety guidelines.
• Support the team during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of dishes.
• Handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with fellow cooks and front-of-house staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
• Help with basic menu planning and ingredient prep for upcoming shifts or special events.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with food handling, safety regulations, and kitchen equipment is a plus.
• Experience in culinary roles such as dietary aide or dietary department work is advantageous.
• Knowledge of food industry standards including knife skills, meal preparation, and catering is beneficial.
• Exposure to fine dining settings or gourmet kitchens can help bring extra finesse to your cooking skills.
