Mechanical Piping Installer (Metals & Thermoplastics)

Do you thrive on turning complex drawings into precise, safe, and clean piping installations? Can you move from layout to final support across carbon steel, stainless, PVC, CPVC, HDPE, and copper—confidently with or without prints? If yes, you’ll feel right at home here.

Transform isometric and arrangement drawings into high-performing process systems. From cutting and beveling to threading and final tie-in, you’ll assemble valves, fittings, and specialties; rig and transport materials; and secure installations with hangers, brackets, and clamps.

• Interpret isometric/sketch drawings to plan system layouts and install accurately.
• Cut, clean, bevel, fit, and prepare weld joints; apply assorted fittings and valves.
• Perform layout, rigging, and movement of pipe, valves, and fittings across the site.
• Install piping and related equipment; identify and work around job-site obstructions.
• Use grinders, band saws, and beveling torches to execute clean, accurate cuts.
• Thread pipe using threading machines and verify fit-up.
• Secure runs to structures using clamps, hangers, and brackets with hand/power tools.
• Assist with lifting, positioning, and securing materials during installation.
• Maintain a well-organized tool set and equipment for reliable daily work.

• Safety-first mindset, consistent PPE use, and strong communication with teammates and clients.
• Comfort with travel and overtime when project schedules demand it.
• Hands-on proficiency with pipe threaders, torches, grinders, porta-band saws, chain falls, forklifts, and high-reach equipment.

Job Requirements:

• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations. Including but not limited to wearing safety equipment such as safety glasses, face masks, gloves, work boots, harnesses and/or other required PPE relevant to job site.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Possess valid identification to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
• Knowledge on operating equipment including pipe threader, burning torch, grinder, porta-band machine, chain falls, hands tools, fork trucks, high reach equipment, etc.
• Able to effectively communicate with coworkers, supervisors, and clients.
• Willingness to work overtime when required

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs; repetitive motions and precise hand work as needed.
• Climb ladders and access steel frameworks safely.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–7 years of experience in pipefitting or closely related piping installation.
