Job Duties:
- Accepting written prescriptions or refill requests from patients and evaluating information for completeness and accuracy.
- Recording medical histories while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Delivering quality customer service to patients, responding to inquiries, questions, or requests, and referring them to the pharmacist for medical information.
- Verifying the accuracy of patient information.
- Counting prescription medication, filling prescriptions, and typing and attaching medication labels.
- Performing inventory audits and purchasing supplies and medication.
- Process patient insurance.
Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years of Pharmacy Tech Experience Required.
- Must have North Carolina LICENSE IN HAND BEFORE SUBMISSION
- Must have very recent experience in a hospital setting. Retail-only experience will be rejected. (No Exceptions)
- Must have IV experience (No Exceptions)
- Must have experience in a hospital with 200-300 beds
- USP Regulations (No Exceptions)
- No Fake Eyelashes
- No Fake Nails
- No Jewelry
- Techs every weekend (12 hr. shifts) and every other weekend nights (7 on/7 off)
- Must Have Pharmacy Tech certification - Required
- BLS from AHA or ARC
- Covid Vaccine Require
Schedule:
- 8 Hours/Day
- 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
- 40 Hour Guaranteed in a week
