Class III AHU Mechanic Location: Albany, MO Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday - Thursday: 3PM-1AM) Friday OT as required Pay: $21.15 $1.00 Shift Premium for 2nd Shift Position Summary The Class III Mechanic is responsible for running electrical components to air handling units. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to perform both Class II and III level tasks. Mechanics are expected to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the production of high-performance products that support Johnson Controls’ mission of creating smarter, healthier environments. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include the Following: Perform all Class I, II and III jobs. Interpret specification sheets and blueprints to accurately identify and select the correct parts required for assembly. Assemble parts to specification. Install windows, hardware, and other purchased parts into assembly per specifications. Complete appropriate paperwork. Utilize rivet gun, air gun, knife, welding and other hand tools to perform duties. Solder copper pipe. Install gauges and wiring units. Assist others in the performance of their duties. Bridge crane or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area. Other duties may be assigned.
