Web Content Publisher

Position: Web Content Publisher ** This is NOT a Web Development Position, no Coding**

1000Bulbs.com is seeking a full-time Web Content Publisher to work in our corporate office in Garland, Texas.

As a web content publisher, you would be responsible for adding new products to sell on our website, maintaining and improving website content by organizing product specs, creating new landing pages, and keeping the website up to date. This role involves product content creation and e-commerce merchandizing with no coding involved. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work effectively with others and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting established deadlines.

Job Function

· Add new lighting products to the 1000Bulbs.com website using our template-based software (no coding involved)

· Product content creation and e-commerce merchandizing

· Researching technical lighting products to produce engaging sales descriptions

· Gather product specifications, images, videos, and/or other marketing materials from different sources

· Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while handling several projects simultaneously

· Assist with website maintenance projects, including reorganizing categories, uploading new assets, and improving user experience

Requirements

· Equivalent work experience or Bachelor’s degree preferred

· Excellent project management

· Excellent organization and time management

· Extremely detail-oriented with great research skills

· Strong verbal, proofreading, and written communication skills

· Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal daily supervision

· Able to take technical information and translate it in a way that everyone can understand

· Intermediate MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

· Experience using project management software, e.g., Monday.com, Asana, or Trello (Preferred, not required)

· Experience with SEO fundamentals and metadata (Preferred, not required)
