Building Location: Essentia Health Moose Lake Hospital Department: 1006160 REGISTRATION - EH SS Job Description: This position provides leadership and support to patient access staff in designated department(s). Assists manager in maintaining optimal staffing models based on volumes and monitors quality and productivity. Exhibits and promotes the Essentia Health customer service philosophy to ensure patients and visitors receive exceptional service. Provides feedback and coaching to staff as necessary and assists with the development of training programs. The primary office location for this position will be in Moose Lake, MN. Candidates must have a reliable vehicle and be able to conduct site rounding 2–3 times per month, or as needed, as this role supports several of our locations. Regular travel between Moose Lake, Sandstone, Cloquet, and Hinckley is required. Education Qualifications: Key Responsibilities: Provides information to, and maintains relationships with external and internal providers, nursing staff, operation managers, front office staff, and customers to provide coordinated services Stays current with clinical, provider, registration and scheduling information related to the serviced departments Assists in maintaining scheduling protocols for many different Essentia Health departments Assists in monitoring all work queues to ensure timely and quality patient care Required Qualifications: 2 years of direct work experience as related to oversight of the team’s work or 2 years of related healthcare leadership experience Preferred Qualifications: Previous leadership experience Associate's degree or higher Licensure/Certification Qualifications: FTE: 1 Possible Remote/Hybrid Option: Shift Rotation: Day/Eve Rotation (United States of America) Shift Start Time: 8:00 Shift End Time: 4:30 Weekends: Occasionally Holidays: No Call Obligation: No Union: Union Posting Deadline: Compensation Range: $25.69 - $38.54 Employee Benefits at Essentia Health: At Essentia Health, we’re committed to supporting your well-being, growth, and work-life balance.
