JOB SUMMARY: The CNL EEG Technology Trainee is supervised during the training period with the completion of electrodiagnostic testing including, but not limited to, EEG, as ordered by physicians according to established protocols and national ASET guidelines. At approved points in their training, the technologist may begin to perform the tests independently. The technologist has a working knowledge of functional neuroanatomy and neurophysiology, EEG background and waveforms. EDUCATION: Associates of Science degree and/or 3-5 years of directly relevant patient care experience required. EXPERIENCE: Health care background preferred. WHY UVM MEDICAL CENTER (UVMMC)?
