Special Education Teacher (SPED) – Keene, NH
10Points is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to join one of our school sites in Keene, New Hampshire for the upcoming school year.
Position Details
- Position: Special Education Teacher
- Location: Keene, NH
- Schedule: Full-time
- School Setting: K–12 / School-based
- Start Date: ASAP / Based on school calendar
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized IEPs based on student needs and goals.
- Provide specialized instruction and appropriate academic and behavioral support.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and other student-support meetings.
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid New Hampshire Special Education teaching certification/license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Previous school-based Special Education experience preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom-management skills.
- Commitment to supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, and developmental needs.
