Overview: Job Description Summary: Designs and delivers technology training programs to ensure that employees have the skills and knowledge necessary to use technology to achieve business objectives. Job Description: Essential Functions: Delivers training programs for technology-related topics, to individuals and groups, both in-person and virtually. Contributes to the creation of training programs and associated training materials including manuals, presentations, and online resources. Assists with the analysis of training needs of individuals and groups. Gathers feedback on the effectiveness of training programs and suggests improvements. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of new technologies and software to ensure training programs and materials are current. Collaborates with other trainers and subject matter experts to ensure own expertise is refreshed and developed. Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in business, human resources, instructional design, or education, or equivalent experience, required. Licensure Requirement: (not specified) Certifications: Recognized certification in a training specialization such as Microsoft Office, Epic or Instructional Design, preferred. Skills: Skilled in developing computer-based training (“CBT”) using CBT applications such as Captivate, Camtasia, Adobe eLearning Suite, or Articulate. General knowledge of Learning Management Systems. Strong Microsoft skills, especially in Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint. Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication (oral and written) skills required to interact and communicate complex technical concepts effectively with all hospital staff, medical staff, and external contacts (i.e. vendors). Capable of presenting effectively to small and large audiences. Must be able to multi-task by managing multiple projects with multiple deliverables and meet all deadlines by applying strong time management skills. Ability to influence others and foster a positive, supportive environment. Experience: Three years of experience with relevant technology, required. Experience in adult based training and development, required.
