Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and bilingual (Spanish-speaking) personal caregiver to provide dedicated support to individuals in , VA. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patients’ health status by taking vital signs and observing for any changes or concerns
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
• Administer medications safely following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance and confidentiality
• Support clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs, ensuring safety during transfers
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient care, observations, and any incidents in accordance with care plans and privacy standards
• Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance mental and emotional well-being

Skills

• Fluency in Spanish with excellent communication skills to effectively connect with clients and their families
• Experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care environments
• Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
• Proficiency in patient observation, monitoring vital signs, medication administration, and creating care plans
• Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and meal preparation to maintain a safe living environment
• Familiarity with emergency procedures including CPR and first aid certification
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times
