Primary Responsibilities:- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and machinery on customer sites.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure safety standards.
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to perform repairs accurately.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers and management.
- Operate tools and diagnostic equipment efficiently and safely.
- Travel extensively to various job sites as required.
- Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced technicians when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in diesel mechanics or hydraulics preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in field service mechanics or heavy equipment repair.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and welding.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation and diagrams.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record; DOT certification is a strong advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently to customer sites.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
