Job Summary

Join our team of professional driving instructors and help new drivers gain the skills and confidence they need to be safe on the road. We're currently hiring certified instructors (or those willing to become certified) who are patient, responsible, and passionate about teaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Being on time to each lesson
• Provide student's their full 2 hours of instruction.
• Pick up and drop off students within a 15 mile radius.
• Promote a calm, positive, and supportive learning environment at all times.
• Instruct students on how to drive based on right-of-ways and the student's skill level
• Maintain control of the school car at all times as the responsible driver in the car
• Give approval for students to take road test using our cars
• Use diagrams and verbal demonstrations to effectively explain driving scenarios to students
• Stay up to date on current Georgia driving laws to completely inform students of driving laws
• Follow all driving laws while using school car
• Maintain professional attitude while representing the school
• Evaluate student's driving abilities and modify lessons based on abilities
• Keep cars clean and gas tanks full; notify office staff if car needs maintenance.

Requirements

• Shall be a person of good moral character, and at least 21 years of age
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage nervous or anxious learners.
• MUST provide at least 6 sessions PER week.
• Valid driver's license AND clean driving record
• Pass criminal background check and Drug Test.
• Complete GA Department of Driver Services Application (We will assist)
• Minimum of high school education or equivalent
• Ability to speak Spanish preferred, but not required
• MUST provide a work schedule one to two months in advance.
• MUST be able available to offer EVENING and WEEKEND lessons throughout the month.

Pay

• MUST provide at least 6 lessons PER week
• Pick up and drop off students within a 15 mile radius.
• Compensation is for 2 hour lesson ONLY.
• Base Pay; $45 per lesson.
• Ultimate Pay; $50 per lesson (comes with requirements)*
• Ultimate Pay requirements-- provide minimum 3 lessons after 3 pm during the weekday AND minimum 4 lessons on weekend.
• Weekly direct deposit
• 1099 Tax Form

Pay: $22.50 - $25.00 per hour
