POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Work Queue Monitor will support systems processes, training and operational performance. Oversee multiple work activities in operational processes to include, monitoring and manageing the put away, picking, shipping and replenishment work queues. Displays extensive knowledge of SAP/ EWM related to the Work Queue. Accountable for extensive communication with operational Supervisors as workloads/priorities change so that resources can be effectively allocated and ensure customer service is not compromised. Serves as a supervisor within their specific area of responsibility for the shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Participate in system training documentation and employee training and education.
- Assist in all related SAP operations, document issues, serve as functional expert and educate all department leadership on processes in respective functional area.
- Ensures all department procedures are documented and utilized.
- Responsible for providing feedback on profiling and developing training materials and procedures for department.
- Queue monitoring and work task movement/prioritization to maximize resource efficiency.
- Use Warehouse Management system to monitor, manage and execute the release of floor picking, shipping and forklift driver workloads.
- Assign workload priorities across business channels with a key understanding of an area’s resources/capacity.
- Process material shipment requests accurately and efficiently.
- Research, analyze and provide problem resolution to issues on replenishment, allocations, inventory control, bin status, product master set up and picking.
- Communicates effectively both horizontally and vertically maintaining two-way communications.
- Communicates department objectives and goals related to performance, safety and housekeeping.
- Partners with peer supervisors to promote cross-departmental cooperation and ensure clear communication.
- Work on the floor in a production role during non-peak performing manual labor as required.
- Communicate all change of workflow to floor operations leadership timely via phone, in-person, email and radio.
- Other duties as assigned by warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Keying/typing, sitting, standing, walking.
- Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials and lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Constant mental and/or visual attention; the work is either repetitive or diversified requiring constant alertness in an office and retail environment.
- Able to work cold storage as needed (-10° to 40°)
- Able to lift 30lbs continuously while operating WMS/RF equipment and power equipment as necessary.
- Able to multitask in a fast pace environment while handling numerous DC operational priorities at once
