We are looking for a passionate and experienced Business Operations Manager to partner with the Head of Business Operations and Head of SMB, EMEA. As the Business Operations Manager, you are focused on establishing and maintaining high standards of project management, processes, and best practices to ensure the successful execution of key strategic initiatives for SMB EMEA. We have two roles: One roles main focus will be partnering with the TikTok Shop team and the other will be focused on project management, process improvement, and best practice building for SMB Sales in EMEA.

You'll closely partner with Sales Leaders, Strategy, Product, TikTok Shop and Marketing teams to address core business opportunities and challenges. We are looking for a proactive, motivated individual who excels in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. With a strong desire to learn and innovate, you will be adept at solving complex problems and delivering solutions that benefit SMB teams across the EMEA region. In this role, you will define project goals and scopes, ensure effective communication across various functions and regions, and continuously enhance business solutions for global clients. The desired candidate for this role has experience working with Ecommerce platforms such as Amazon, Shopify, eBay etc.

Responsibilities:
Building collaboration across SMB EMEA:
- Creates and maintains forums for key reporting and engagement, including managing documentation, schedules, coordinating meetings. This extends to assisting with budgeting and financial tracking, with a goal to optimize team/management alignment.
- Facilitates clear communication channels between stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals, expectations, and activities throughout a project lifecycle. This includes regular status updates, progress reports, and meetings with key stakeholders.
- Develops and leads initiatives to foster collaboration and engagement across a multi-country sales team, with the goal of creating opportunities for recognition and cross-team interaction, all in alignment with the broader SMB EMEA mission and vision.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders; facilitate effective decision-making by presenting project updates, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership and steering committees.

Business strategies impacting growth priorities:
- Build and demonstrate a proficient understanding of the SMB EMEA Sales business and larger SMB ecosystem to influence key priorities and workstreams.
- Owns or represents EMEA-specific business opportunities or gaps that require continuous project monitoring, identify potential risks and issues, and implement proactive mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery within defined constraints.
- Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, processes, and best practices to ensure consistency, transparency, and adherence to standards across the organization

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant project or program management, operations or a related field
- Experience in working with Senior Business Leaders and ability to build strong relations with cross functional partners in a multi-faceted organisation
- Experience in designing and facilitating complex, multi-faceted projects spanning across different teams, across countries, preferably in a global or multinational environment
- Strong understanding of project portfolio management, resource allocation, risk management, and project prioritization in alignment with organizational strategies
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively present findings and recommendations to stakeholders across different cultures and regions (proficiency in one or more languages is preferred)
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting with the ability to capture data, draw conclusions and clearly articulate trends, insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Global travel required

Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in project management methodologies and tools with the proven ability to work in a fast paced and ambiguous environment
- Proven experience working with Go-To-Market, Strategy & Operations functions is desired
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit that can develop and lead a new initiative from the ground up; thrive in ambiguity
- Digital ad sales experience is a great asset
- Strong understanding of business functions within large organisations and ability to navigate through complex and ambiguous organisations
- As we work with product teams based in our parent company HQ, business fluency in Mandarin would be a bonus for this role!
