Childcare Assistants - Ovens and Ballincollig

Sherpa Kids provides , After school and Holiday Childcare to children in Ireland during term time and non-term time (school holidays).

Our services require a suitable childcare assistant with a commitment for delivering a quality, dependable school age service. This role requires someone who is dedicated to forming strong partnerships with their staff teams, with schools, families and with children.

• Start Date: TBC pending reference checks and garda vetting
• Job Types: Permanent (Full time and Part-time)
• Salary: Starting from €14.43 p/h
• Locations: Ovens(CAR ESSENTIAL) and Ballincollig
• Hours: After school 1:45-6pm Monday to Friday

Programme Assistant Duties include:

• Assisting with the day-to-day activities in a caring and fun environment.
• Interacting with the children, their families and other staff members each day.
• Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.

Requirements:

• Driving is a desired for this role as you will may be required to work in more than one location / move from one area to another
• Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 1 year)
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• Work Permit/ VISA essential (for more than 20 hours a week)
• Reference checks x2 required before starting.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From €14.43 per hour
