Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Duties to include: * In conjunction with other staff, ensure curriculum is implemented daily * Ensure the room/materials for activities are ready when needed * Liaise with room leader around work to be completed * In conjunction with other staff, ensure child safety at all times * In conjunction with other staff, ensure all areas of development are met e.g. physical, language, emotional and social * Become familiar and work within the policies & procedures of the centre * Become familiar with the working of Aistear and how it is implemented in the centre * Share ideas for curriculum and activities for children
