Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Duties to include: Ensure child safety at all times; Work as part of a team daily to ensure the best outcomes for all children attending the service; Liaise with Room Leader & Childcare Supervisor around work to be completed; Communicate effectively, oral and written; Work with all other staff to ensure daily curriculum/ plans are carried out; Assist in the promotion of all areas of child development: physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social; Work in different rooms in the Childcare Centre as required, e.g. Toddler, Junior Pre-School, ECCE Pre-School and after-school rooms; Become familiar with the policies & procedures of the service and work within these daily. Be available to work during the hours of 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
