Project Manager Ship Propulsion Systems

Are you eager to join a dynamic team handling MAN 175D high-speed engine propulsion systems at MAN Energy Solutions? Do you possess a strong technical background, a commercial mindset, and exceptional project management skills? If so, this position might be the one for you.

You will play an important role in:

• Technical project management for complex ship propulsion systems with high speed marine engines
• Project responsibility from the takeover of sales to the final handover to the service department
• Be the main contact person for customer, consortium partners and worldwide MAN organizations within the assigned projects
• Clarification of the technical specification and the necessary interfaces within all internal and external project stakeholder
• Responsibility for project budgets
• Claim-, contract and change order management scheduling of all planned resources
• Worldwide coordination of personnel assignments for the commissioning of complex ship propulsion system
• Technical support for sales projects

We imagine that you:

• Have completed studies in engineering / industrial engineering with focus on mechanical engineering or comparable qualification
• Organized and structured way of working, high degree of personal responsibility, strong teamwork- and communication skills
• Knowledge and practical experiences in project management
• Strong customer- and solution orientation
• Willingness to travel worldwide
• Business fluent in written and spoken English
• Confident use of MS-Office-products and knowledge of SAP R/3 is an advantages
