Our story began in 1984 when a South Dakota School of Mines & Technology and a South Dakota State University graduate decided to start their own MEP firm in Rapid City. Over time, weve grown to include four additional regional offices and more than 50 employees - all while maintaining our small business dynamic and the belief that our designs are only as good as the service we provide. Today, the West Plains team has developed a reputation for having the resources and expertise needed on most any construction or renovation project. Our PEs maintain active registrations in more than a dozen Mid...west states and have strong connections throughout the region...because this is our home. To put it simply, for clients, our company means resources. Whether its specialized expertise, past successes or ready availability - our clients know we have the right resources to give them the best solution for their project.
