**Job Description**

As Sales Manager West Coast you will be responsible for managing the commercial definition and execution of unique projects in the autonomous, electric, and connected automotive space. You will have the opportunity to collaborate and coordinate the development activities with a global Bosch development team - in North America, Germany and China as well as interact directly with customers.

Bosch Engineering Groups extensive customer portfolio includes a spectrum of major manufacturers from luxury and sports car segments to commercial vehicles, including highly advanced technical applications.

Responsibilities include:

* Responsible for managing the technical and commercial definition of Electrification/Active Safety/Passive Safety/ADAS development projects for New Mobility customers in North America.

* Collaborate and coordinate the technical and commercial activities with a global Bosch development team - in North America, Germany, and China as well as coordinate activities directly with customers.

* Directly report to the West Coast Account Manager on technical and commercial aspects of development activities of running projects.

* Establish customer relations, acquisition strategies and pre-selling activities to achieve target growth.

* Break-down projects into specific work-packages and estimate required effort to define necessary resources and create price indications and quotes for customers.

* Creation and negotiation of quotations, tracking of budget, issuing and tracking of invoices, budget planning, process development.

* Maintain global list of open items, create and distribute meeting minutes for internal and external meetings.

* This position involves domestic/international travel of approximately 15% time to support customer meetings and/or project team offsite activities.

**Qualifications**

* B.S. in Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Applied Science.

* 3 years of experience in the automotive, aerospace or technical field as a sales engineer in the field of electrification, chassis systems or advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

**Preferred:**

* M.S. in Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Applied Science.

* Working experience in the area of electrification, chassis systems or advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

* Working experience in a customer facing role, including customer negotiations.

* Sharp attention to detail and polished organization skills.

* Self-motivated team player with the ability to provide technical solutions built around customer needs.
