The qualified candidate will perform various tasks to ensure the cleanliness of the community and residents’ rooms and apartments.

Qualifications and Job Skills: Ability to understand and follow task orientation and instructions, rules and procedures for safely transferring housekeeping loads, infection control and other safety procedures. Experience of up to 6 months preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Be alert and active in supporting The Village’s commitment to safe practices, infection control, and respect for residents’ rights;

Vacuum rooms with carpeting;
Sweep and mop tile floors; bathroom and kitchen;
Empty laundry from carts;
Clean bathroom sinks, showers, baths, and toilets;
Clean mirrors;
Move furniture as needed to permit cleaning;
Change bedding, including turning of mattresses;
Participates actively in team efforts to maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout residents’ apartment;
Pushing housekeeping carts to apartments;
Watches out for residents’ personal items to ensure they are not lost or misplaced.
