Archdiocese of Baltimore is Hiring a Principal, Assistant (EX) (2024-2025) - Our Lady of Hope/St. Luke School, Dundalk MD Near Dundalk, MD
Essential Functions
- Assist the principal in defining and communicating the school's mission, goals, and expectations
- Provide instructional leadership, in concert with the principal, for the implementation of the curriculum of the Archdiocese of Baltimore
- Assist the principal in the supervision and mentoring of faculty and staff
- Support faculty in the supervision of students and administration of the school's Code of Conduct
- Assist in determining and implementing school organization, student placement and evaluation, and services and programs that provide for the needs of the students.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, administrative and supervisory personnel, parents, and community
- Engage in professional and community activities as an official representative of the school
- Practicing Catholic with a demonstrated commitment to the mission of Catholic education
- Master's degree from an accredited institution in educational administration, supervision, curriculum development, or education
- Appropriate MSDE Certification
- A minimum of five years of teaching experience in Catholic schools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be comfortable with technology including GSuite, Google Classroom, and school management programs such as Power School.
- Prior experience in school administration preferred
