Collins Companies, Pallette Stone Corporation is seeking a **Precast Concrete Laborer** at our Saratoga Springs, NY facility. The selected candidate will become a member of the Teamsters Union Local 294 and will enjoy the wages and benefits afforded to its members. *Until further notice, we will be conducting interviews and executing our on-boarding process strictly following CDC protocol and guidelines for COVID-19.*

**Essential functions of the position*:***

* Construct forms out of steel or wood using basic carpentry skills.

* Operate basic hand & power tools

* Install miscellaneous materials in erecting concrete structures

* Check forms while concrete is being placed

* Operate lull and other equipment associated with production

* Pour & trowel finish concrete

* Assist and direct others in stripping forms after concrete is placed

* Ensure safe work environment in compliance with all safety policy and procedures using appropriate tools and equipment for the task

**Qualifications:**

* Must be able to review and understand project plans, drawings, and specifications and interpret data

* Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Job requires bending, climbing, and squatting

* Basic carpentry skills

* Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required

* Heavy physical activity performing strenuous daily activities of a productive/technical nature

* Work outdoors with exposure to changing weather conditions such as rain, sun, snow, and wind

* CDL Class A license preferred, but not required

* Must pass a pre-employment drug screen

**Compensation:**

Starting pay $25/Hour. Competitive wage commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit package including company paid health, dental and vision insurance with a company-funded retirement plan.
