Housekeeper & breakfast server & assistant innkeeper needed for Bed and Breakfast in SW Asheville -- located off Brevard Road, near the NC Arboretum. We are a small, locally-owned inn with 10 guest rooms and a guest cabin. Bent Creek Lodge is consistently rated as the top B&B in Arden and one of the best in Asheville. With tips and bonuses, we expect this position to pay around $19 to 20 per hour.

Candidate must be detail oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team, while interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner.

Prefer candidates with some housekeeping experience in B&Bs or inns.

Job requires:

• Serving coffee, juice and breakfast to guests, clearing tables, assisting with kitchen clean up
• Cleaning guest rooms and preparing for guests arrivals
• Making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, moping, trash removal
• Cleaning main house inside and out, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
• Check in/check out guest
• Helping guests with local directions and recommendations
• Extra pay for overnight stays, working as assistant innkeeper.
• This is a non-smoking environment

This job is generally scheduled 3 to 5 days per week for 18 to 35 hours per week. Additional hours may be available for the right candidate who wants to learn front desk duties and assist with afternoon check-ins.

Please do not apply if you cannot work mornings and weekends. Morning shifts are between 8 AM to 3 PM. Evening shifts are 1PM to 7 PM. Some overlap of shifts is available.
