**Technical Support Specialist**

**Houma, Louisiana**

T. Baker Smith is searching for an experienced, growth-oriented IT professional for our Houma, LA location. This is an ideal position for someone that is a self-starter, passionate about working in the dynamic, ever-changing world of information technology.

**The Opportunity:**

* Responsible for support-related issues across the entire firm.

* Desktop hardware and software support.

* Troubleshooting and problem solving of desktop, network, and server related issues.

* Comfortable supporting all levels of the organization from field personnel to executive teams.

* Responsible for utilizing helpdesk ticketing system to ensure that all technical support issues are communicated and resolved in a timely manner.

* Stays up to date with current IT trends and technology.

**Required Qualifications and Skills:**

* 4 years of related experience.

* Strong ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.

* Dedicated professional with attention to detail and accuracy.

* Proven knowledge of Office 365/Microsoft Office products.

* The candidate must be able to relate to external clients and associates at all levels of the organization.

* Must possess excellent leadership, communication, and diplomacy skills.

* Knowledge of Windows operating systems, desktop hardware, and basic networking.

* Basic understanding of client/server architecture and Active Directory.

* Support experience with Autodesk, Bentley, and ESRI products is a plus.

* A , Network or other IT related certification is not required, but a plus.
