SUU Aviation Overview

SUU Aviation is one of the nation's premier flight schools, training 10% of the nations helicopters every year and holding one of the most advanced airplane training fleets in the world. Southern Utah University is located at an ideal training location, offering more than 300 days of flying every year, with mountainous terrain. Diverse weather and terrain combined with a field elevation of 5,622 feet above sea level create some of the most advanced training conditions possible. SUU offers accredited Associate's, Bachelor's and Master's degrees in aviation. At the same time students earn their ...degrees they also earn their Private, Commercial, Instrument, CFI (certified flight instructor) and CFII (certified flight instructor instrument) certifications.
