As a Stan’s Tacos Manager, you will play the following role on our team:

Partner with the GM to lead the team to maintain a healthy P&L with growing sales and solid cost control
Under the direction of the GM, direct the work of Front and Back of House employees, assigning side work, coordinating opening and closing activities, and coordinating the receiving and stocking of delivered products
Work in all positions in the Front and Back of House where help is needed most to ensure great results
Write food and material orders and labor schedules, processes invoices, completes payroll edits and punch processing
Play the role of Host if/when needed, providing a best-in-class service experience
Conduct interviews, hire and on-board new hourly employees
Cultivate a culture with Meritage Values at its core and focused on personal and career development, constantly growing the capability of the team and building a pipeline of future leaders
Ensure excellent guest experiences by engaging with guests, resolving issues quickly and kindly, ensuring the kitchen is delivering high quality, fast and fresh food and monitoring the cleanliness of the restaurant
Ensure the restaurant is prepared for open and close, following established policies, procedures, and checklists
Train restaurant teammates in operational and soft skills, following training processes and procedures
Develop restaurant leadership skills and abilities by working with and learning from the GM

We expect our Stan’s Tacos Managers to have the following qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
1 to 2 years of prior management experience in a casual dining restaurant
Leadership skills and a desire to grow within restaurant management
Strong customer service skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Basic HR knowledge
Ability to effectively communicate and be a great team player in a fast pace, sometimes stressful environment
Computer skills
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs at a time
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
