Worth Hearing Center is an independent community-oriented audiology practice providing hearing health care services to patients in the Albuquerque, NM, area. They are looking for a patient-focused and competent Audiologist for their Rio Rancho location.
The Audiologist will be responsible for administering diagnostic audiometric tests, counseling and educating patients on hearing loss and treatment options, dispensing hearing aids, performing outcome measures for fitting verification, and taking full responsibility for the complete patient journey.
Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive, diagnostic hearing evaluations for primarily adult patients
- Conducting audiometric testing and providing recommendations for hearing aids
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and providing treatment and rehabilitation for tinnitus patients
- Hearing aid verification, including Real Ear Measurement and Speech Mapping.
- Fitting hearing aids and assisting with any adjustments, questions, or problems
Requirements
- Au.D or Master’s Degree in Audiology
- Licensed in New Mexico, or the ability to obtain a New Mexico license before the start date
- The ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of patients
- Strong compassion, care, and respect for patients
