The Audio Visual Technician is responsible for the overall operations of the Multimedia Ministry. Responsibilities include ensuring there is audio, video (including video wall and video screens), livestreaming for all church worship services, conferences and special events, troubleshooting, editing and maintaining audio and video equipment.

Anticipated Time Commitments

1. Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: twenty hours per week

2. Participating in meetings/training/rehearsals: four hours minimum a month

Responsibilities/Duties

• Attend Beloved St. John Evangelistic Church worship services.
• Supervise audio, video and livestreaming operations for all services.
• Responsible for scheduling Multimedia staff for coverage of all services and events.
• Identify and analyze operational procedures and recommend solutions.
• Responsible for providing oversight of maintaining effective sound and video systems for all church services. Systems are to be checked before the start of any worship service or event.
• Responsible for providing oversight of the set-up of microphones.
• Provide oversight for validation of all edited master CDs/DVDs for reproduction and sales.
• Responsible for ensuring that sufficient amount of CDs/DVDs are supplied to be sold immediately following each worship service.
• Provide training and on-going support for team members.
• Work in conjunction with the Music Ministry to ensure quality service.
• Maintain equipment and report equipment and supply replacement needs or recommendations to the Church Administrator.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by Church Administrator.
