.Responsibilities:Provide thought leadership and direction for PWA regarding the role of insurance as an asset for high-net-worth individuals and families.Work collaboratively with PWA team members in deepening client relationships by showcasing product knowledge and strategic expertise in insurance solutions.Monitor and be able to communicate the latest developments regarding insurance as a risk management and/or alternative investment strategy for appropriate clients.Provide technical knowledge to team members and clients on changing legislation, market practices and product development in the insurance industry.Participate in client meetings to add value to PWA’s comprehensive approach to financial planning and wealth management.Assist PWA leadership in its analysis of third-party vendors and service providers in the area of insurance.Maintain updated knowledge of law, regulations, practices and financial products relevant to insurance.Perform coaching on an individual or team basis to enhance specific knowledge and skills and in order to identify opportunities for client solutions.Work with clients and prospects from the point of application through policy issuance.Coordinate efforts between client, advisor, and third-party insurance company.Qualifications:7 years of work experience in insurance sales3 years of work experience in financial planning preferredFinra Series 7 & 66 or 7, 63, and 65 requiredCLU preferred but not requiredThe duties listed above are the essential functions, or fundamental duties within the job classification.
