Full Job Description
- Receives cash and checks for deposits to accounts, verifies amounts, examines checks for proper endorsement, and enters deposits into computer records.
- Cashes checks and processes withdrawals; pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
- Promotes and explains other financial institution services such as certificates of deposit, safe deposit boxes, traveler’s checks and cashier’s checks.
- Responsible for proof processing, balancing, and corrections.
- Counts, checks, and packages coins and currency.
- Ensures that the teller station is properly stocked with forms, supplies, etc.
- Provides a level of customer service that exceeds the customers’ expectations in all transactions.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Work cooperatively with others.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Education/Skills Required:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The ideal candidate should possess strong customer service skills as well as cash handling experience.
Job Type: Full-time
