Compensation: $72,000 base plus incentive pay and benefits
Responsibilities
•Prepare estimates, written proposals, budgets, costs, and updates for clients and project managers
•Evaluate proposals, specifications, blueprints, and construction documents to understand the project as a whole
•Compute labor, construction materials, time, and product costs to estimate overall cost for construction projects
•Interface with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors
•Inspect the construction site to collect necessary client requirement information
Qualifications
•Critical thinking, analytical skills, and very strong math skills are required
•Three years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is needed
•Excellent project management, time-management, and communication skills are necessary
•Valid Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) certification from the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) is a plus
•Understanding of accounting, data and risk analysis, research methodology, and estimation metrics is vital
