Robert Half is actively seeking a long-term contract to hire Bookkeeper to become an integral part of a high performing team at a growing winery. In this position you will be responsible for processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, resolving A/P issues, and matching, batching, and coding invoices and helping with payroll. You will have the opportunity for career growth and advancement within this dynamic company. Based out of the beautiful Napa, California area, the role will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire opening.

Key responsibilities:

- Uphold quality historical records by filing documents

-Full cycle AP and AR and support Payroll

- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

- Reconcile all bank accounts

- Oversee and maintain a well-run system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures

- Review payments received and record deposits

- Support accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

- Oversee and manage general ledger

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a bookkeeper preferred

- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

- Foundational knowledge in AR & AP

- Basic Bookkeeping experience required

- Comprehensive knowledge of Bookkeeping Functions

- Experience working with various types of accounting software desired
