We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a MicroStation | CAD Designer in ANKENY, Iowa, United States. This role is primarily focused on utilizing MicroStation for CAD drafting, modeling, and visualizing bridge infrastructure.
Responsibilities :
- Utilize Bentley Microstation and other CAD Software for drafting and design tasks
- Engage in 2D and 3D modeling, with in-house training available for 3D aspects
- Focus on the visualization of bridge infrastructure, taking into account the specific requirements of the state
- Produce structural drawings as part of the design process
- Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of all designs and drafts
- Stay up-to-date with the latest CAD design techniques and technologies
- Collaborate with the team to ensure all designs meet project requirements and deadlines
- Conduct regular checks and updates on all customer credit applications
- Maintain precise customer credit records and resolve any customer inquiries promptly.
- Proficiency in Bentley Microstation and MicroStation software is mandatory.
- Demonstrable experience in CAD - Computer Aided Drafting or Design is required.
- Familiarity with CAD Software is essential.
- Knowledge and experience in Bridge design and related projects are necessary.
- Ability to produce and interpret Structural Drawings is a must.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities are required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
- A degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering or Design, is preferred.
- Proven experience as a MicroStation | CAD Designer or similar role is expected.
