Robert Half is Hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk Near Livermore, CA
Robert Half Contracts Finance and Accounting is seeking an entry level Accounts Payable Clerk to join a large company in Folsom! This Accounts Payable Clerk would also be assisting with inventory data entry.
Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents to verify the quantity, pricing, and terms.
Obtain necessary approvals for invoices and process them for payment in a timely manner.
Prepare and maintain vendor files, including contact information and payment terms.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Assist in the preparation of month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Perform data entry tasks to update inventory records, including product codes, descriptions, quantities, and locations.
Collaborate with other teams, such as purchasing and inventory control, to ensure accurate and up-to-date data entry.
Conduct periodic audits to verify the accuracy of inventory data and identify any discrepancies or errors.
Assist with general administrative tasks and provide support to the finance department as needed.
This is a full-time position that would be 3 days in office and 2 days remote. The ideal candidate would have 1-2 years' experience of accounts payable and data entry in a high-volume environment. If you feel this is the job for you, apply today!
Requirements- Be detailed, flexible, and organized
- Spreadsheet and database capabilities
- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
- Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
- Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel
