Richardson Saw & Lawnmower is Hiring an Experienced Mechanic - Outdoor Power Equipment Near Richardson, TX

Job Description

We are looking for an Experienced Outdoor Power Equipment Mechanic to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing and performing maintenance on various outdoor power equipment for major brands such as Toro, Scag, eXmark, Honda, and more. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:45AM-5:00PM and Saturdays 7:45AM-12:00PM

Responsibilities:

Repair and maintain various Zero-Turn Lawnmowers, Lawn Tractors, and Mid-sized walk behind mowers
Specialize in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with all aspects of the above-listed machines, including internal engine components, drive systems, and electric issues.
Accurate perform repairs and address any other notable issues found on machine before
Quote and call customers regarding necessary work to be performed on machines and an estimated cost to complete
Perform quality inspections and live testing of machines before approving repairs and returning units back to the customer
Call customers to let them know work is completed
Maintain all current training requirements of various vendors such as Kawasaki, Briggs and Stratton, Kohler, Toro, Scag, eXmark, Honda, and more

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a mechanic in the Outdoor Power Equipment industry
Knowledge of shop equipment and various tools required to diagnose and repair mechanical failures
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Complete work in a quick, yet thorough, manner
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work in a team atmosphere

Working Environment:

Air-Conditioned and Heated enclosed shop
Mechanic office and breakroom
