The Research Foundation of State University of New York (The Research Foundation) collects and administers research and education grants from state and federal governments, corporations, and foundations on behalf of the 24-campus State University of New York, known as SUNY. The foundation has formed several affiliated divisions -- including Long Island High Technology Incubator and NanoTech Resources -- to operate research facilities, encourage scientific collaboration, and otherwise facilitate research for the university.
