What You’ll Do
As a member of the design team you might be asked to work on software that helps agents close their leads, help a home buyer find the home of their dreams, or help a broker make their team more effective.
- User interviews, workshops, rapid prototyping, visual design, design reviews
- Work directly with development, marketing, and product to establish and enforce design & experience standards.
- Own and implement a design system across the portfolio of products.
- Design and UX Audits.
- Evangelize UX and design across the organization.
- Work closely with other product & design teams in the FNF portfolio
Who You Are:
- You know how to use a design thinking approach, to ask the right questions in the right way to find the right problems to solve.
- You fall in love with problems, not solutions. You’re always in search of a better, simpler, more elegant way.
- You are strategic. You’re at home wireframing, whiteboarding, and workshopping.
- You see the big picture, but sweat the details. You can appreciate a great idea, but inconsistencies in products drive you crazy. You can’t help but be pixel-perfect
- You crave feedback. It makes your designs better, and you know that each person has a unique perspective that should be heard and considered
- You are an expert in design systems and can debate the nuances of naming conventions, documentation best practices, and the differences between storybook/ zeplin/figma.
- You are a champion of your users. You feel that people deserve to have great experiences with your products. Failing the customer is never okay
- You are a team player. Collaboration is woven into your design process
What You've Done:
- You have 5 years of experience in Product Design, UI/UX Design, or a similar role
- Your portfolio demonstrates your user-centered designs across a variety of mobile and web applications
- You’ve implemented a design system, coordinating closely with development teams..
- You’ve run cross-functional workshops to get a team working together.
Nice To Have:
- Degree in User Experience Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related discipline
- Experience working on a small team in a fast paced environment.
- Experience with B2B web/mobile apps for real estate professionals or small/medium business owners.
- Expertise with design & prototyping tools like Figma, Zeplin.
- Experience with B2C web/mobile apps for lead generation or ecommerce.
