This group is working on ADAS functions for series projects. Examples include Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) and partially automated driving (e.g. Highway-Assist).

**Job Description**

We are looking for a proactive engineer to fill the role as Tools Development Engineer for our Radar Software department. As a Tools Development Engineer you will create and maintain tools to aid in the development of radar technology for driver assistance. Tools will be deployed on-premise and in the cloud to support resimulation of ADAS software and CI/CD pipelines.

In the role, you will have ownership for tools development, maintenance, and support. Specifically,

* Develop, maintain, and optimize make tool chain for multiple projects.

* Create batch scripts, Windows applications, or tools based on team needs.

* Measure and analyze KPI's for Radar functions.

* Optimize tools based on KPI's and test results.

* Support technical project manager for tool development process documentation and update of tool development plans.

* Manage and maintain computing cluster and local data server.

* Manage and maintain cloud subscriptions and environment as well as Jenkins pipelines.

* Support resimulation of software in the cloud by deploying, maintaining, and utilizing toolchain in the cloud.

* Communicate with other tool developers globally to share knowledge and lessons learned.

**Qualifications**

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.

* 3 years' experience with C or Python tools development.

* 3 years' experience in make tool chain development or optimization.

* 3 years of Cloud Based Software Development (AWS, Azure).

Preferred Qualifications:

* 5 years in strong C or Python tools development skills.

* 5 years' experience in make tool chain development or optimization.

* 3 years of DevOps Methodology.

* 3 years of Jenkins & CI/CD.

* C software development experience in automotive or embedded control systems.

* Experience with MATLAB, Python, Vector tools, batch scripting, Jenkins, BOOST.

* Experience in working with GIT, BitBucket, Jenkins, Jira Track and Release or similar tools.

* Familiarity with Requirement Management / Test Documentation tools is desired.

* Experience with Driver Assistance or ADAS functions desired.

* Must possess a proactive attitude.

* Must possess interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.

* Able to effectively challenge conventions and introduce innovative ways to be more efficient.
