Job Description
Probst Electric is looking for water truck drivers to help support the construction of a right-of-way of a high-voltage powerline project in North-West Colorado.
Travel is required - For those traveling, per diem will be provided.
Tasks:
- Haul water from the water source to the worksite as often as required.
- Communicate with grinder operator or supervisor to ensure production runs smoothly.
- Fill the water tank on the grinder.
- Daily inspection of boom operation, valves, pumps, and hoses.
- Wash slurry off the road/vehicles.
- Maintain a log of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
- General mechanical skills.
- Assist slurry truck washout as needed.
- Check equipment daily.
Requirements
- CDL with Tankers Endorsement is Required
- Valid DOT Medical Certification
- Travel required for continued employment
- Pass pre-employment and regular drug screenings
- Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Compliance with FMCSA, OSHA, and other Federal, State, and local safety regulations
- Experience operating a commercial vehicle
