The Foot and Ankle Center is Hiring a PMAC Registered X-Ray Tech / Medical Assistant Near Bryn Mawr, PA
Busy Podiatric office looking to hire 2 Part-time Medical Assistants. Prefer PMAC Podiatric x-ray certified. Pay is commensurate with experience. Approximately 25-28 hours a week. Early day, Late day and Evenings are required , along with rotating Saturday mornings. A flexible schedule is necessary. We prefer experience but will train the right candidate.
Medical assistants are responsible for:
Medical assistants are responsible for:
- Bringing patients back into exam rooms.
- Entering inpatient data into the EMR.
- Preparing the patient for the doctor.
- Assist the doctor when needed.
- X-Ray's (Must be Certified to take x-rays)
- Assist in Casting and removing casts, drawing up injections for the physician.
- Assist in sterile procedures.
- Learning durable medical equipment applications.
- FMLA and STD paperwork.
- Medication prior authorizations for patients.
- Among other duties.
