NOVA Plastic Surgery and Dermatology is Hiring a Medical Assistant for a Busy Plastic Surgery Practice Near Ashburn, VA

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team and support our clinical operations. Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience.
Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for procedures or consultations.
Take pre-procedure and post-procedure photos per protocol.
Take and record patients' medical histories and vital signs.
Prepare patients for procedures and minor surgeries.
Assist providers during procedures as needed.
Provide patients with pre- and post-procedure instructions.
Draw blood and prepare PRP and PRF for injection according to practice standards. (training provided)
Remove sutures as directed by physicians.
Schedule appointments for follow-ups and further treatments.
Handle specimens with care, send them to pathology, and ensure receipt of results.
Stock each procedure room and inform the supply manager of low supplies.
Clean rooms between patients.
Attend team meetings.
Perform basic wound care and dressing changes.
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
Email medical aesthetics patients after treatments to check on progress and relay any medical questions to the providers.
Inform patients of current promotions and deals.
Explain in detail the benefits of our patient referral and rewards program.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
