Summary

City Market Co-Op is seeking a Grocery Team Lead to direct the work of grocery stockers, while keeping all grocery areas well stocked, staffed, and maintained.

Day-to-Day Duties

* Working with Grocery staff to ensure Grocery sub departments are well stocked, staffed and maintained.

* Ensuring proper merchandising and performing routine department tasks such as stocking, rotating, cleaning, and quality control.

* Assisting Grocery Management in communicating policy, tracking employee performance, training, and assigning tasks to employees.

* Providing support to customers and staff as needed.

* Compliance with established City Market procedures and practices regarding operations, sales, safety, and security.

* May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* Two years of grocery retail or supervisory experience OR three years of customer service or retail experience required.

* High School diploma or GED preferred.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

* Knowledge of natural and conventional foods and the food industry helpful.
