New Bedford Guide is an online community/blog in the Greater New Bedford Massachusetts area. We cover a wide range of topics, including but not limited to, news, dining, art, sports, local history, politics, opinion, business reviews & spotlights, event calendar, job portal, weekend to-do guide, pet finder, marketplace and photography. We launched in May 2010 as an online event only website called Local Oracle. However, as we began to gain an audience, we discovered the area needed a larger voice and expanded our brand to include articles, reviews, spotlights and much more. Since August 2010, ...our website has grown from less than 10,000 page views, to averaging over 200,000 page views and over 100,000 unique visitors in 2014. Our Facebook Page has more engagement than the Boston Globe, NECN, Boston Herald, the Providence Journal and many other media companies in New England. With over 47,900 fans on Facebook, we also boast the most popular page in all of South Coast, Massachusetts. As a company, we are dedicated to building a one-of-a-kind online community, and will continue to improve on this every year with new features, products and services.
