The North Carolina League of Municipalities (NCLM) is a member-driven organization with over 100 years of service representing the interest of North Carolina cities and towns. We are currently seeking a Corporate Partnerships and Development Manager. The purpose of this position is to oversee the NCLM corporate sponsorship and preferred partner programs, and secure donations and grants for the League’s non-profit partner, the NCLM Local Leadership Foundation (LLF). The position will collaborate with other organizations and groups to build partnerships and enhance fundraising activities for NCLM and LLF. This position reports to the Director of Strategic Communications and Member Engagement.

Additional Duties Include:

• managing partnership agreements/contracts,

• ensuring sponsorship benefits are achieved

• assisting in the development of communication strategies and materials for League programs, events and services (content development, working with graphic designer to determine layout/design, scheduling outreach, etc.).

• working with the NCLM Finance Department, to manage the fundraising income programs.

• identify ideal donors from public and private investors; build new donor relationships while maintaining existing ones

• cultivate a positive and professional reputation for the NCLM and the NCLM Local Leadership Foundation

• secure financial commitments that meet the goals and metrics for both the NCLM Corporate Sponsor Program and the NCLM Local Leadership Foundation

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Fundraising/Development, Business, Communication or related field is required. Over three years up to and including five years of experience is preferred.

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience $60k-$70k is the anticipated hiring range. Employees are also eligible for pay incentives annually based on individual performance.
