Summary of Position | Keene State College invites applications for a faculty position in the Construction Management Program beginning August 2024. Keene State College's Construction Management Program, part of the Department of Safety and Occupational Health Applied Sciences (SOHAS), combines the expertise of the SOHAS, Business Management, and Architecture programs. Launched in Fall 2020, it quickly became the college's fastest-growing program, expanding from 3 students in 2020 to nearly 90 today. The program focuses on the development of professional knowledge, critical thinking and problem solving as these elements relate to Keene State College's college wide learning outcomes . This role involves teaching undergraduate and potential graduate courses in various formats, including classroom, laboratory, and online. Key responsibilities include curriculum development, laboratory management, student advisement, and college service. Candidates are expected to engage in scholarly activities, maintain professional development, and participate in service activities for the program, department, and college. Candidates should have a commitment to mentoring a diverse student body, including first-generation college students. Promoting critical thinking, problem solving, and civic engagement is essential. Salary Information | Salary is based on the prevailing Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement, according to which the rank minimum for an Assistant Professor is $75,230 and $65,720 for an Assistant Clinical Professor for Academic Year 2024-2025. Salary is complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. The College reserves the flexibility to appoint tenure-track or clinical rank dependent upon the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. |
