M. Steinert & Sons is the oldest piano dealership in North America. Morris Steinert (age 19) immigrated to the USA in 1850, the same year as Henry Steinway (age 53). Mr. Steinert settled in Boston, created the "Steinert" piano in a Leominster factory, and had 42 stores in New England before the great depression. M. Steinert & Sons is the only Steinway dealership in the area and has had exclusive rights to Steinway since 1869.
